Slow Writing

I like going hunting, it is fun.
When i go hunting i sleep like a log.
Quickly we wake in the morning to get to a good viewing point.
Deer don’t dare to come out of the dark.
Bang the deer goes down.

How are we going to get it home?

Hunting in the weekend!!

A few weeks ago me and my dad went hunting in north Canterbury on a station near Parnass. The station was owned by a guy that my dad sprays for. His name is Andrew Lang. On Saturday we left home and headed for the hills. Finally we arrived there and sighted in the rifles into a big mound of dirt. Then we had a look around but the weather packed in and it started to rain so we decided to put up the tent and have diner and go to bed. Early the  next morning we went to have a look around some hills but we didn’t see anything but at about 11 o'clock we saw three deer sunning them selves in the hot hot sun they were about 300 meters away so we decided to try to get in close to them. When we got to with 110 meters of the deer  me and dad got set up and shoot a deer each and we took the guns back to the truck which was only 500 metres away. Then we got the knives out and gutted the deer and did three loads of meat back to the truck. Finally we went back home and took all the meat to the butcher in Halswell to get some meat patties, salami and sausages.

Egg experiment

Yesterday we did a experiment when you need a glass and you put a plate on top and you put a toilet roll with a egg on top and you hit the plate and the egg should go into the cup.

The rail trail
Little river to motukarara

At 9:30 we loaded the kempthornes truck up with our bikes at school. We were going to have an exhilarating day biking. At about 10 ish we were 4km from little river where there was a car park that we started at. We waited for the truck to get unloaded and then the truck and the cars that we transporting us went to motukarara and the parents that were going to bike with us got a ride back with a parent that wasn't going to bike brought them back to where we were.

We started biking at about 11 o'clock. Then we stopped for lunch at halfway which was about 10km into the rail trail. We started biking at about 1 o'clock and i was in the front group the whole way. When we had finished the bike was about 1:45and the we loaded up the truck and got into our cars and went back to school and we did nothing much at school, it was a hot and sweat making bike ride.most of us were tired and felt like relaxing. Then at 3 o'clock we went home.

Dear Appointment panel

I would like to be considered for these positions in the following leadership teams, sport, catering and the bus.

I think that I would be a good bus monitor because i have done it before and i am responsible. I believe that I would be a good role model for the younger students on the bus.

I think that I would be a good member of the sports team because I do football for Rolleston and tennis and i love sports.

I think that i would be great in the catering team because i love to cook and I am good at cooking. I also sometimes cook pancakes and bacon for breakfast.

Thank you for considering my application for positions on the sport, catering and bus teams.  I am sure that i have the right skills for the job.
